The Outer Hebrides

This hauntingly beautiful, remote and uspoilt archipelago remains beyond the reach of many cruising yachtsmen, leaving its anchorages and harbours uncrowded and uspoilt. Miles of silver sands fringe clear azure waters, while sheltered inlets provide havens from the surge of the restless Minch.

The cliffs of Mingulay

If the weather gods allow, you may pass through the fantastically rock-studded passages of the Sound of Harris and head out on an Atlantic adventure to fabled St. Kilda, or perhaps you will go South from Barra to round remote Barra Head and perhaps land on the beautiful deserted beaches of Mingulay or Pabbay.

Anchor off the huge beach in sheltered Vatersay Bay on a warm Summers day and imagine yourself transported to the South Pacific, or perhaps spend a tranquil evening in the magic anchorage known as Wizards Pool. The islands are known as 'Tir na Nog', the Land of the Ever Young - come on a Westbound Adventure and experience the magic of the Hebrides for yourself.
